Jason Babcock

Jason Babcock is a highly experienced scientific consultant and materials engineer with a robust background in chemistry and advanced materials development. Currently serving as Senior Managing Consultant and Director of the Chemistry Practice Group at Engineering Systems Inc. since January 2017, Jason has a focus on new product qualification, product defect analysis, and failure analysis. As a co-founder of Green Light Industries, Jason has contributed to advancements in energy technologies, including electric vehicle powerplants and emissions reduction. Prior experiences include serving as Principal Scientist at Caulfield Engineering, Director of Science and Technology at ITC Experts, and Chief Chemist at Hbar Technologies, among others. Jason holds a Postdoctoral degree in Materials Science from Northwestern University, a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of Chicago, and a BA in Chemistry from Illinois Wesleyan University.
