Olivia Lau

Olivia Lau is an accomplished Quality Assurance Engineer at Stryker, with previous experience as an Engineer Presenter at Engineering Tomorrow, where a passion for engineering was ignited among underprivileged high school students. Olivia served as a coxswain for the USC Women’s Rowing team, balancing rigorous academic commitments alongside extensive team responsibilities and volunteer work with Trojan Outreach Programs. As a Teaching Assistant at USC Viterbi School of Engineering, Olivia supported over 60 students with SOLIDWORKS, leveraging technical knowledge gained during a Design Quality Assurance Engineering internship at Medtronic, which involved process risk assessment and cross-functional collaborations. Additional roles included leadership in personal development initiatives for student-athletes at USC Athletics, directing alumni relations for Lemonade Day, creating educational content for high school students, and serving as a Summer Camp Counselor, all contributing to a well-rounded background in engineering and community engagement. Olivia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from USC Viterbi School of Engineering.
