Ivan Zhang

Ivan Zhang has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Ivan started their professional journey as a Groundskeeper at West Coast Golf Group from June 2021 to July 2022. Simultaneously, Ivan held the position of VP of Events at Reboot McGill Nonprofit Organization, managing event planning and execution from May 2021 to October 2022. Ivan also served as the President of the same organization from September 2022 until now. In 2022, Ivan joined xMatters, inc as a Research Integrations Intern, working on integrating research findings into the company's operations from September 2022 to May 2023. Furthermore, they worked as the Food Manager at Open Air Pub (OAP) from October 2022 to the present, ensuring efficient food service operations. Currently, Ivan holds the role of Junior IT Director at the Engineering Undergraduate Society of McGill University, which they have been serving since May 2022. Ivan is set to become the IT Director in August 2023.

Ivan Zhang is currently pursuing a B.Eng degree in Computer Engineering at McGill University, with an expected graduation year of 2024. Prior to their university education, Ivan attended Port Moody Secondary School from 2017 to 2020, where they completed the International Baccalaureate program. Before that, they studied in the MYP Programme at Meadowridge School from 2015 to 2017. Ivan has also acquired several additional certifications, including AST-1 from Avalanche Canada in 2023, Psychological First Aid from the Canadian Red Cross in February 2023, Remote First Aid & CPR/AED Level C from the Canadian Red Cross in November 2022, Java Programming I from the University of Helsinki in 2021, and McGill Personal Finance Essentials from McGill University - Desautels Faculty of Management in 2020.
