Camille Roberts

Founder, Treasure, Executive Committee Member of the GW Chapter for Engineering World Health at Engineering World Health

Camille Roberts has a diverse range of work experiences spanning different fields. Camille worked as a Teaching Assistant at The George Washington University, where they provided 175 hours of assistance in engineering courses and was later hired as a learning assistant. Camille also engaged in undergraduate research projects, including the Cancer Plasma Project and the System Recalibration Phase Stability Project. Camille was an NCAA Division 1 Student Athlete from 2013 to 2016.

At i-School, Camille worked in teaching and curriculum building, focusing on innovation, robotics, and creative presentation methods for k-6 students. Camille also had a role as a Founder, Treasure, and Executive Committee Member of the GW Chapter for Engineering World Health, working on STEM outreach and medical equipment servicing in third world hospitals. Additionally, they served as a Tutor/Mentor at LAYC through Northstar Tutoring, assisting K-12 students and coordinating mentoring relationships with other GW student athletes.

Outside of their professional work, Camille is involved in Personal Creative Endeavors, including writing (short stories, poetry, novels, music), singing, composing, recording, and participating in the GW band. Camille also has an interest in stand-up comedy.

Camille's work in the field of Emergency Medicine includes their role as an EMT Basic from 2013 to 2015.

Camille Roberts completed their high school education at Parkland High School from 2009 to 2013. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biomedical Engineering from The George Washington University, graduating in 2017.
