Engineers for a Sustainable World
Neil Rockey is currently working as an Incoming Student Intern at the U.S. Department of State and as the University of Maine Chapter Treasurer at Engineers for a Sustainable World. Neil is also a 2023 Undergraduate Research Fellow at the University of Maine, co-authoring a research project on insurgent movements in Central Asia. Additionally, Neil has experience as a Research Assistant at the International Affairs Program and as a Summer Legal Intern at DLA Piper. Neil has also worked as a Strategy Consulting Extern at PwC, an East Africa Communications Lead at Engineers Without Borders USA, and as a Squad Leader at the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps. Neil has a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and National Security Studies from the University of Maine.

Engineers for a Sustainable World (ESW) is a chapter-based organization with more than 1,750 members, and 3,000 alumni based throughout North America. As technically-minded students and professionals, ESW works on forging lasting solutions to sustainability challenges through technical design projects and educational initiatives.
