Technology Development Lead at Engineers Without Borders Australia

Angus Mitchell is an HDR Candidate at The Australian National University since October 2020 and holds multiple roles at Engineers Without Borders Australia, including Technology Development Lead, Technology Development Coordinator, and Product Development Engineer specializing in Inclusive Agricultural Technologies. Angus has led the Agrilab Project, focusing on developing technologies to support individuals with disabilities in rural Cambodia. Prior experience includes working as a Laboratory Technician and Research Assistant at the Australian Centre for Field Robotics, where Angus contributed to vibrational modeling and testing of the RIPPA autonomous robotic platform. Additionally, Angus served as Co-President and Appropriate Technologies Coordinator for the Engineers Without Borders Australia - University of Sydney Chapter and was a Mechatronic Technician at S1T2. Angus earned an Engineer’s Degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the University of Sydney in 2017.
