Sonya Rand

Sonya Rand is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sustainability and ethical sourcing. Currently serving as the Head of Sustainability at Bunnings since January 2020, Sonya is also a member of the Board of Trustees at Trust for Nature and holds directorship positions with Engineers Without Borders Australia and Water Stewardship Asia Pacific. Additionally, Sonya is a Clinical Ethics Committee Member at The Royal Children's Hospital and a member of the Risk & Governance Committee at Carey Baptist Grammar School. Sonya's involvement with the UN Global Compact Network Australia includes participation in the Technical Advisory Group focused on Environment & Climate Change. Previously, Sonya held key roles in sustainability management at Cotton On Group and Coles. Sonya's educational background includes a Master's degree in Engineering Science from Monash University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management, and a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Adelaide.
