Cristina Morera Albert

Cristina Morera Albert has a wealth of work experience in the field of research. In 2007, they worked as a Bachelor Student at the Immunobiology Laboratory for Research and Diagnostic Applications. In 2008, they were a Master Student at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, where they conducted research on the characterization and differentiation of Embryoid Bodies of two stem cell lines growing in vitro. From 2009 to 2015, they worked as a Research Technician at the CMR[B] Center of Regenerative Medicine in Barcelona, where they specialized in optical microscopy, histology, and flow cytometry. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Research Assistant at Imperial College London, where they prepared and cultured primary tumour cells from high grade serous ovarian cancer tissue. Most recently, they have been working as a Research Technician at Engitix Therapeutics since 2022.

Cristina Morera Albert obtained their Bachelor's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2004-2008. Cristina then pursued a Master's degree in Cell Biology and Reproduction at the same university from 2008-2009. In 2016, they attended Imperial College London to obtain a Personal Animal Licence, PIL A & B for Mouse and Avian eggs.
