Alex Perkins has a diverse background in sports marketing and sales. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as a Sports Coach and Coordinator at Toowoomba Grammar School in Australia. In 2010, they became a Senior Sales Consultant at Leicester City Football Club, where they focused on sales, marketing, and promotion. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Commercial Executive at Stoke City Football Club, where they built relationships with community groups and businesses to maximize ticket sales. Alex then joined NEC Group as a Marketing Services, Relationship Executive, and later as a Commercial Marketing - Sponsorship Manager from 2012 to 2014. From 2014 to 2023, they held various roles at Edgbaston, including T20 Project Manager, Head of Commercial, and Sales and Marketing Director. Currently, Alex Perkins is serving as the Commercial Director for The Hundred at the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB).
Alex Perkins attended The Arthur Terry School from 1998 to 2005. Afterward, from 2005 to 2008, Alex studied at the University of Worcester and obtained a BSc in Sport Studies and Business Management.
