David Elworthy

David Elworthy is a seasoned professional in sports officiating and management, currently serving as Senior Manager for Recreational Officiating at the England & Wales Cricket Board since March 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Officiating Relationship Manager for England and Great Britain Hockey, where David oversaw the development of umpiring pathways and governance changes, and as National Recruitment Manager at Pinnacle People, successfully leading recruitment initiatives and delivering significant results. David’s coaching background includes work at Lincoln Minster School, nurturing young athletes and achieving historic successes in regional tournaments. David holds a BSc (Hons) in Sports Science from Nottingham Trent University.
