Paul Baldwin

Paul Baldwin is an accomplished professional in the field of sports officiating and media communications. Serving as Chairperson of the First Class Umpires Association and Head of the Leadership Group for the Professional Umpires Team and Contracted Women Umpires since October 2024, Paul also maintains a long-standing role as a First Class Umpire and Consultant Umpire for the England & Wales Cricket Board since April 2010. With previous experience as a Consultant Umpire for the International Cricket Council and Director at Extra Cover Media, Paul has a strong background in public relations and media strategy across various sectors. Additionally, Paul held the position of Group Information Officer for the British Army, overseeing communications for a large military community across Europe. Paul is currently pursuing an MSc in PESO, Sport Officiating at Edinburgh Napier University.
