Richard Thompson

Richard Thompson currently serves as the Chair of the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) since September 2022. Thompson has held several prominent positions, including Non-Executive Chair at M&C Saatchi Group from April 2021 to August 2024, and Chair at Alzheimer's Society and South Shore Productions Ltd from January 2020 and November 2019, respectively, both extending through August 2024. Additionally, Thompson was Chair of M&C Saatchi Merlin from 2003 to August 2024, Chairman of Surrey County Cricket Club from 2011 to August 2022, and Chairman of Twofour Group from 2014 to October 2019, as well as Chairman of People of Today at Debrett's Limited from 2012 to June 2018. Education was completed at Cheam High School from 1978 to 1983.
