Paul Asare-Archer

Paul Asare-Archer currently serves as the Chief Compliance Officer and Money Laundering Reporting Officer at Shawbrook Bank since January 2023 and holds a position as Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee at England Boxing Ltd since January 2024. With an extensive background in compliance and risk management, Paul is also a member of the Advisory Board for the International Compliance Association since November 2020. Previous roles include Head of Compliance, Data Protection Officer, Privacy, and MLRO at Virgin Media O2 from July 2021 to December 2022, and Director of Compliance and MLRO at O2 (Telefónica UK) from April 2012 to July 2021. Earlier experience includes Senior Compliance Manager and MLRO at Bank of Ireland and Senior Auditor at the Legal Services Commission. Paul began a professional career through the Graduate Scheme at Deloitte. Educational qualifications include a Law LL.B. from The University of Manchester, an MBA from Westminster Business School, and A Levels from Watford Grammar School for Boys.
