Gemma Field

Gemma Field is an experienced communications professional in the sports industry, currently working in Communications, Media and Content for England and Great Britain Hockey since May 2023. Previously, Gemma served as Head of Communications for the British Triathlon Federation from June 2019 to April 2023 and held the position of Communications Manager at England Boxing from November 2017 to June 2018. Earlier roles include Communications Manager and Senior Communications Officer at British Swimming for over a decade, with responsibilities such as serving as Press Delegate for various FINA events and acting as Multi-Sport Press Officer for the British Olympic Association during the Olympics. Gemma began a career in sports communications as a Media Assistant with British Judo in 2006 after earning a 2:1 degree in Politics with Communication and Media Studies from Loughborough University.
