Alex Bentham is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in sport management and development. Currently serving as a Project Officer for England Squash since November 2022, Alex previously held roles at The Rugby Football League, where responsibilities included managing the Coach Education Programme and supporting talent development. A background in customer service is evident from time as a Telemarketing Executive at Voice Marketing Ltd and a Sales Assistant at American Golf. Alex's earlier experience includes managing grassroots sports initiatives with Eastside Community Sports Trust and facilitating cricket activities for the England & Wales Cricket Board. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Sport Management from Coventry University and a Bachelor's degree in Sport and Health Science from Hull College Group.

England Squash
England Squash is the national governing body for squash in England and is responsible for the organisation and promotion of the sport throughout the country. We also have many links with other professional sporting organisations inside and outside squash. We are a member national federation of both the World and European Squash Federations (WSF and ESF) and we work with the Professional Squash Association (PSA – the men’s and women's tour body). Other significant non squash partners include Sport England, UK Sport, the Youth Sport Trust, The Sport & Recreation Alliance, Local Authorities and county sports partnerships.
