Abraham Alarcón

Abraham Alarcón currently serves as Vice Principal - Supervisor of Academies at Englewood Public Schools since July 2023, after holding the position of Supervisor within the Englewood Public School District since July 2018. Alarcón has extensive experience in education, including roles as an Instructor for Level One Certification at the Archdiocese of New York, and as an Affirmative Action Officer at Englewood Public School District, where responsibilities included promoting equity and investigating complaints. Previous leadership experience includes serving as Principal at Janis Dismus Middle School and as a High School Social Studies Teacher at Dwight Morrow High School. Alarcón's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Religious Education from Fordham University, as well as degrees from Harvard Graduate School of Education, New York University, and Rutgers University.
