Melissa Rhodes is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching and administration. Currently serving as an Assistant Principal and previously in roles as an Instructional Coach and Middle School Math Teacher at Englewood Schools since August 2018, Melissa has also contributed to the Douglas County School District as an 8th Grade Math/Algebra/Geometry Teacher from August 2012 to July 2018. In early 2014, Melissa gained leadership experience as an Intern Principal at Summer Scholars, a non-profit program focused on improving reading scores for struggling elementary students. Earlier in their career, Melissa taught at Cherry Creek Schools. Melissa holds a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Colorado Denver and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Purdue University Northwest.
