Kate McMullen is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in the heritage and tourism sectors. Currently serving as Head of Brand & Marketing at English Heritage since January 2017, Kate leads a team that successfully attracts over 6 million visitors annually to renowned sites like Stonehenge and Tintagel Castle. Previously, as Senior Marketing Manager for the North, Midlands & East at English Heritage, Kate oversaw visitor marketing for several significant sites, including Hadrian's Wall and Whitby Abbey. Prior to her work at English Heritage, Kate held the position of Head of Visit York, where responsibilities included marketing the city to 7 million visitors and managing a diverse team and budget. Kate began her career as a Marketing Services Executive at Superbreak and holds a BA in History from the University of York.
