Patrik Vormittag

Patrik Vormittag is the Co-founder and CTO of Engrain, a leading interactive mapping technology and data visualization software company. Patrik has over 7 years of experience with Engrain, and has held various positions including Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer, Co-Founder & Head of Product, and Lead Software Architect.

Prior to Engrain, Patrik was the Founder & President of Locomotive Inc., a software development company. Patrik also spent 4 years at Sterling-Rice Group as a Sr. Software Engineer and Sr. Design Technologist.

Patrik’s experience also includes Interactive Developer at Crispin Porter Bogusky, where they worked on cutting-edge interactive experiences for major brands such as Volkswagen, Burger King, Old Navy, Microsoft, Coke Zero, and Dominos. Patrik was a Colorado native and fresh out of college when they joined CP+B. During their time at the company, they made significant contributions to vw.com, developing and launching the first fully interactive 3D exterior & interior car viewer on a major car brand website. In early 2009, Patrik worked with a small team to develop and deliver the first web experience for Old Navy. Old Navy Weekly became a fully interactive experience where a print ad layout – changed out weekly – would animate and encourage users to search for super cash, hidden within the experience.

Patrik Vormittag attended Westwood College from 2004 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Visual Communications.
