Alexander Scott-Simons

Alexander Scott-Simons is an accomplished professional in bioinformatics and data analytics, currently serving as Head of Bioinformatics Engineering at ENHANC3D GENOMICS since September 2021. Previous roles include Data Programme Director at Secret Escapes, Technical Analytics Manager at Facebook, and VP of Data and BI at Lazada Group, where Alexander led significant data management projects and analytics functions across various regions. Experience at Essence spanned multiple positions, culminating as Regional Analytics Director for APAC, where responsibilities included overseeing analytics functions for major clients and leading the architecture of comprehensive data systems. Alexander holds an MSc in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Imperial College London and an MChem in Chemistry from the University of Oxford.
