Patrick Montague is currently an advisor at Enhance Ventures. Prior to that, they were the VP and GM at betaworks from May 2015 to January 2020. In that role, they launched the camp business, which was a thematically-driven pre-seed/seed stage investment program in which betaworks ventures invests in promising early-stage companies while leveraging the infrastructure of the betaworks studio to accelerate company growth. Patrick also was responsible for building/deploying web services using the in-house product team and seed investing to create a network of companies benefiting the owned and operated properties. Some notable products they worked on include bit.ly, Chartbeat, Dots, Giphy, Poncho, and Tweetdeck. Patrick has also invested in Anchor, Crowdtangle, IFTTT, Medium, Product Hunt, Tumblr, Twitter, URX, Venmo, among others.
Prior to their time at betaworks, Patrick Montague was an MBA associate at Gotham Ventures from November 2014 to May 2015 and PeakSpan Capital from May 2014 to February 2015. Patrick also served as a Future Angel at New York Angels from April 2014 to October 2014 and as a Senior Fellow and VP at InSITE from January 2014 to May 2015.
Patrick Montague's educational career includes earning an MBA in Venture Finance and Entrepreneurship from Columbia Business School, a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from The Johns Hopkins University, and a semester at Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona. Patrick also attended Georgetown Preparatory School and St. Anselm's Abbey School.
