Iten Elyassaki

Iten Elyassaki has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries and roles. They began their career as an Educational Programs and Marketing Intern at the Greater Cincinnati World Affairs Council in 2011. They then transitioned to a role as an Assistant to the Director/Administrative Assistant/ESL Tutor at Northern Kentucky University from 2012 to 2013.

In 2013, Elyassaki worked as a Technical Assistant at the Hamilton County Engineer's Office before becoming an Independent Contractor/Arabic Medical Interpreter at Affordable Language Services. During this time, they also worked as an International Specialist at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center from 2014 to 2021.

In 2018, Elyassaki transitioned to the role of a Mental Health Counselor/Therapist at Naya Clinics, where they worked until 2022. They subsequently joined The Counseling Continuum as an LPCC starting in February 2022.

Their most recent position is as the Director of Onsite Mental Health Services at ENI, starting in May 2022.

Iten Elyassaki completed a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with specializations in Chemical Dependency and Addictions, Crisis Intervention, and Wellness, at Xavier University from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Cincinnati from 2008 to 2012.

In terms of certifications, Iten Elyassaki has a Licensed Professional Counselor certification from the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, & Marriage and Family Therapist Board, which they obtained in September 2019. Iten also has a Crisis Intervention certification from CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) International, obtained in February 2018.
