Sergio Leoni

Sergio Leoni is an experienced data engineering professional currently serving as the Head of Data Engineering & Data Platform and Stream Product Owner for Data at Plenitude since March 2021, leading an Agile Stream focused on Cloud Data Platform development and Data Democratization with a team of over 20 individuals. Prior to this role, Sergio worked at Eni gas e luce from December 2018 to July 2023 as a Professional Data Engineer and Product Owner, overseeing Big Data projects and designing the Cloud Data Platform. Earlier experience includes roles as Big Data Engineer and Acting Senior Big Data Engineer at Data Reply IT, where project leadership occurred for an Italian insurance company, as well as internships focused on data analytics and software development at NEC Laboratories Europe and Exerit. Sergio holds a Master of Engineering in Computer Science Engineering from Università degli Studi di Brescia and has participated in the Erasmus program at University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest.
