David Gudgeon

David Gudgeon is an experienced engineering professional specializing in mechanical equipment and thermal design within the energy sector. Currently serving as Chief Engineer for Machinery Packages and Piping at Eni since November 2013, David oversees critical mechanical equipment including compressors, pumps, and piping layout. Previous roles at Eni include leadership positions focused on fired equipment for LNG and refinery projects. Prior to joining Eni, David accumulated significant expertise at Saipem, leading projects in thermal design and combustion equipment. David's career also includes roles at PCC Sterling Ltd, Hamworthy Combustion, and John Zink Company LLC, showcasing a comprehensive background in engineering design and project management. David holds a Master of Engineering degree in Fuel and Energy Engineering from the University of Leeds.
