Serafino Sacco

Serafino Sacco is an experienced engineering professional with extensive expertise in process and technical safety. Currently serving as the Head of Plant and Process Engineering at Eni since January 2016, Serafino also holds the position of Head of Process Engineering for Eniprogetti, overseeing process, technical safety, and commissioning engineering. Previously, Serafino worked at Saipem from September 2010 to December 2015, where roles included Process Upstream Manager, Process Downstream Manager, and Process Department Manager. Serafino's career began at Techfem S.p.A. as a Process & Flow Assurance Engineer from September 2008 to September 2010. Serafino holds a Laurea Magistrale in Ingegneria Chimica from the University of Calabria, obtained in 2008.
