Maarten Stolk

Maarten Stolk has extensive work experience in the field of data science and machine learning. Maarten is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of Deeploy, a platform that specializes in explainable, manageable, and accountable machine learning in production. Prior to Deeploy, they co-founded Enjins, where they led a team of over 20 ML engineers in building machine learning engines for tech scale-ups and innovative organizations.

Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Maarten worked as a Data Scientist at VODW, focusing on data science, data engineering, predictive analytics, and machine learning. Maarten also held the role of Data Scientist at EscolherSeguro and was involved in the development of the Demand Forecasting System at EyeOn.

In addition to their technical expertise, Maarten has a strong interest in the commercial implementation of statistical models and data analytics platforms. Maarten strives to understand the entire data flow and is capable of building both front-end and back-end applications. Throughout their career, they have collaborated with various industries, including medical, financial, and high tech, and has worked closely with universities.

Maarten Stolk began their education in 2010 at Maastricht University, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Econometrics and Operations Research. Maarten successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2013. During their time as an undergraduate student, Maarten participated in an exchange program at QUT (Queensland University of Technology) in 2012, further enhancing their educational experience.

After completing their Bachelor's degree, Maarten enrolled at Erasmus University Rotterdam in 2013 to pursue a Master of Science (MS) in Quantitative Finance. Maarten successfully finished their master's program in 2014.
