Balaji Aravindhan Pandian, PhD

Balaji Aravindhan Pandian, PhD has a varied work experience. In 2021, they began working as a Herbicide Discovery Scientist at Enko. From 2016 to 2021, they worked at Kansas State University as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Graduate Research Assistant. During their time at Kansas State University, they led several activities to support research efforts, applied advanced biology, physiology, bioinformatics, and statistical analysis knowledge, and presented findings to stakeholders. From 2014 to 2016, Balaji worked as an Associate Manager - Process Excellence | Leaf Operations at ITC Limited, where they worked collaboratively to minimize costs, reduce environmental footprint, enhance product quality, and drive sustainable production. Balaji Aravindhan also trained 50 cross-functional team members and identified and capitalized on opportunities for improvement. From 2011 to 2014, Balaji completed an Internship at Kothari Sugars Limited.

Balaji Aravindhan Pandian, PhD obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Agronomy and Crop Science from Kansas State University between 2017 and 2020. Balaji Aravindhan also obtained a Lean - Six Sigma, Black Belt from BMGI in 2016, and a Master's Degree in Plant Breeding and Genetics from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University between 2012 and 2014. Additionally, they obtained a GRI G4 Sustainability Reporting Training by KPMG from the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) in September 2015.
