Karin Whiting Burgess

Karin Whiting Burgess has over 20 years of experience in communications and marketing. Karin began their career in 1999 as the Director of Whiting Burgess LLC, specializing in brand building, social media, communications, media relations, reputation management and integrated marketing solutions. In 2008, they took on the role of Managing Editor and Publisher at TennisIdentity.com, a leading online tennis fashion and gear resource, and also began working as the Public Relations for the Eastern Connecticut Regional Tourism District/Mystic Country, managing national and regional media outreach, social media, and writing for tourism district publications. In 2018, they moved to the University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy as the Marketing & Public Relations Administrator. Most recently, in 2023, they became the Director of Communications at Enko.

Karin Whiting Burgess graduated from Colby College with a B.A. in Theirtory and American Studies. Prior to this, they attended Dana Hall School in Wellesley, MA.
