Evan McMullin

Evan McMullin is currently a Principal at Enlightenment Capital, focusing on investments in aerospace, government, and national security sectors since February 2023. Previously, McMullin served as a Lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania from 2021 to 2023 and co-founded the Stand Up Republic Foundation, where efforts were made to strengthen commitment to American democratic ideals from 2017 to 2023. McMullin was also a U.S. Senate candidate in Utah in 2021-2022, advocating for a bipartisan approach to safeguarding democracy. Additional roles include Board Director at Citizen Data (2019-2021), Chief Policy Director and Senior Advisor on National Security for the U.S. House of Representatives (2013-2016), Investment Banking Associate at Goldman Sachs (2011-2013), and Operations Officer at the Central Intelligence Agency (1999-2010), where McMullin led various covert operations. McMullin holds a BA in International Law and Diplomacy from Brigham Young University and an MBA from The Wharton School.
