Frank Silanos

Frank Silanos has held various roles in the finance and accounting departments of several companies. In 2022, they began their current role as Vice President of Finance & Accounting at Enliven Therapeutics. From 2020 to 2021, they were Vice President of Finance at Avidity Biosciences, Inc., where they were responsible for overseeing the management of the day-to-day operations of the Accounting and Purchasing Departments. From 2019 to 2020, they were Senior Director of Finance & Accounting at Imbria Pharmaceuticals, where they were responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department, including accounts payable, payroll and monthly close process. From 2014 to 2019, they were Senior Director of Finance & Accounting at Conatus Pharmaceuticals Inc., where they managed the preparation and filing of SEC financial reporting documents. From 2000 to 2014, they held various roles at Vical, including Associate Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis, and Senior Financial Analyst/Financial Analyst. During this time, they completed the annual budget, quarterly forecasts and monthly variance analyses for an organization of 25 operating departments with annual expenses of over $50 million. Frank also created complex financial models utilizing probability of success, Monte Carlo simulation and/or scenario analysis to determine the financial impact of strategic decisions related to existing drug products, potential drug products, licensing of technology, product partnerships and acquisitions.

Frank Silanos obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Business Administration (Finance) from San Diego State University, followed by a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Business Administration (Finance) from California State University, Fullerton.
