Mike Wiltermood

President & CEO at Enloe Medical Center

Mike Wiltermood has more than 20 years of hospital leadership experience. Mike became the chief executive officer at Enloe Medical Center in July 2009. He served as the medical center’s interim CEO starting in March 2009 and was Enloe’s chief operating officer, overseeing the day-to-day operations at the medical center, from July 2007 until March 2009.

Prior to coming to Enloe, Mike was the executive vice president/chief operating officer of Fremont-Rideout Health Group in Yuba City, Calif. He also served as CEO of Coulee Community Hospital in Grand Coulee, Wash. During his career, Mike has held executive-level positions at hospitals and health systems in Arizona and Idaho. While Mike was CEO at Coulee Community Hospital, the hospital was a finalist for the American Hospital Association's Comeback of the Year Award in 1997.

Mike was also CEO at St. Benedict Hospital in Jerome, Idaho, recognized as a Solucient Top 100 Hospital two years in a row, president of the Columbia Basin Hospital Council (2002), on the board of directors for the Association of Washington Public Hospital Districts (2001- 2003), and is currently the Northern Sierra Section chair for the Hospital Council of Northern and Central California.

Mike received his Bachelor of Arts degree in international relations and his Master of Science degree in health care administration from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. Mike is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a former trustee of the Washington State Hospital Association.
