Valentin Dorgeloh

Valentin Dorgeloh has a diverse work experience in product design, graphic design, and engineering. Valentin currently holds the position of Director of Product Design at ENLYZE GmbH, where they are responsible for creating various data visualizations, designing a data contextualization setup, implementing design thinking strategies, and creating application prototypes. Prior to this, Valentin worked as a Digital Product Designer at ENLYZE GmbH, where they helped users navigate and consume complex data. Before joining ENLYZE GmbH, Valentin worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer at Valentin Dorgeloh Designs, where they specialized in corporate design, annual reports, and infographics/covers for magazines and publications. Valentin also has experience as a Scientific Assistant at PIA - Prüfinstitut für Abwassertechnik GmbH, where they were involved in engineering tasks such as interpreting EN 12566 standards, performing hydraulic performance tests, and conducting lab sampling and analytics. Additionally, they contributed to the design aspects of the company by creating corporate design materials, annual reports, and infographics/covers for various publications and magazines.

Valentin Dorgeloh obtained a B.A. in Kommunikationsdesign from FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences in the period from 2012 to 2019. In addition to their degree, they have acquired several certifications. These include "UX Management: Strategy and Tactics" from The Interaction Design Foundation achieved in March 2023, "Enterprise Design Thinking Co-Creator" from IBM obtained in May 2021, "Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner" from IBM obtained in March 2021, "Information Visualization: Getting Dashboards Right" from The Interaction Design Foundation achieved in February 2021, and "Information Visualization" from The Interaction Design Foundation earned in July 2020.
