Jani Takalo

Jani Takalo has extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Jani started their career in 2000 as a Plant Designer at Pöyry Engineering Oy and worked until September 2003. From August 2003 to October 2005, they served as a Design Engineer at Steerprop. Jani then joined Rolls-Royce Marine, where they worked as a Design Engineer from November 2005 to March 2014, and later as a Senior Design Engineer from March 2014 to November 2016. In 2016, they briefly worked as a Lead Engineer at Valmet Automotive.

From 2017 to January 2020, Jani worked at Oy Lai-Mu Ab as a Product Designer and Technical Sales Support. Jani then moved to Rauma Marine Constructions Oy, where they served as a Piping Systems Manager from January 2020 to March 2020. Jani returned to Oy Lai-Mu Ab and held the role of Chief Design Engineer from March 2020 to December 2022.

In December 2022, Jani Takalo joined Enmac Oy as a Team Leader & Chief Engineer, where they currently hold their position.

Jani Takalo completed their Matriculation Examination at Eurajoki High School from 1991 to 1994. Jani then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Industrial Management at Satakunta University of Applied Sciences - SAMK from 1995 to 1999. Later, from 1999 to 2000, they attended the Tampere University of Technology to study Information Technology.
