Todd Heberlein

Todd Heberlein is the VP of Engineering at Ennetix. Todd has over 25 years of experience in the field of computer security. Todd has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from UC Davis and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.

Todd Heberlein began their career as a Postgraduate Researcher at UC Davis, where they developed the original Network Security Monitor (NSM), the first network-based intrusion detection system. Todd then founded their own company, Net Squared, Inc., where they served as President for 18 years. During their time at Net Squared, Todd Heberlein wrote proposals, conducted research, and delivered results and solutions as software, presentations, papers, or reports. In 2014, they sold Net Squared to Five Directions, Inc., where they served as Principal Engineer for two years. In 2020, Todd Heberlein rejoined Ennetix as VP of Engineering.

Todd Heberlein completed their Masters of Science in Computer Science at University of California, Davis. Prior to that, they completed their BS in Computer Science and Math also at University of California, Davis.
