Wanda Brown, MSN, RN

Wanda Brown, MSN, RN has a diverse work experience in the healthcare field. Wanda started their career with Evercare Hospice and Palliative Care as a Performance Improvement Coordinator in 2013. Wanda then moved on to Optum Palliative and Hospice Care, where they worked as a Regional Outcomes Specialist from 2013 to 2016. Afterwards, they joined Optum Palliative & Hospice Care as a Regional Clinical Specialist from 2016 to 2017. Wanda then took on the role of Executive Director at Gentiva Hospice from 2017 to 2021. From 2018 to 2021, they simultaneously served as the Manager of Palliative Care and the Director of Hospice Operations at Visiting Nurse Health System | Hospice Atlanta. Currently, Wanda is working as a Site Visitor at CHAP - Community Health Accreditation Partner, starting in October 2021.

Wanda Brown, MSN, RN began their education journey in 1993 at Macon State College where they pursued an ASN degree. Wanda successfully completed their studies in 1996. After a significant break, Wanda returned to education in 2012, enrolling at Capella University. Over a span of three years, from 2012 to 2015, they earned their MSN degree with a focus on Leadership and Development in Nursing. Wanda's educational background has equipped their with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in the nursing profession.
