Arnoud Balhuizen

Arnoud Balhuizen holds significant leadership experience in various sectors, currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors at Teck Resources Limited since April 2023 and as Managing Partner at 280ppm since May 2020. Balhuizen contributes to several supervisory and advisory roles, including positions at ENOUGH, Anthony Veder, and Royal Den Hartogh Logistics. With a long tenure at BHP from 1995 to 2019, Balhuizen rose to the role of Chief Commercial Officer, overseeing extensive commercial and logistics operations. Earlier positions within BHP included Vice President Marketing for various commodities and General Manager Marketing for Copper Metal. Balhuizen’s educational background includes a Bachelor's in Business Economics from The Hague University of Applied Sciences and a Diploma in Management Studies from Teesside University.
