Jim Laird

Jim Laird has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Jim started their career at Unilever, where they held various manufacturing roles from September 1992 to August 1996. Jim then worked as an Operations Manager at Walkers Snackfoods for a year, overseeing a team of 150 employees.

In 1997, Jim joined Premier Foods and took on the role of Logistics Project Manager, where they successfully restructured the logistics operations. Jim later became the Factory General Manager and then the Export General Manager, overseeing the company's international operations until 2006.

From 2006 to 2011, Jim assumed multiple roles at Marlow Foods (Premier Foods), including Commercial Director for MBMG, General Manager for Quorn International, and Programme Manager for Integration & Strategy. In these roles, they achieved significant sales and profit growth, successfully integrated acquisitions, and managed complex business integration projects.

In 2011, Jim joined Robert Noble as an Interim Consultancy Support, focusing on business and commercial strategy, operations improvements, and business processes.

Jim then served as the Head of Corporate Development at Premier Foods from August 2014 to March 2015, before moving on to become the Commercial and Corporate Development Director at OPTIBIOTIX HEALTH LTD from April 2015 to December 2016.

Jim's most recent role was as the CEO and Commercial Director at 3F BIO LTD, where they have been since January 2015. Throughout their career, Jim has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a track record of driving business growth and operational excellence.

Jim Laird earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Manufacturing Sciences & Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, where they studied from 1987 to 1992.
