Jan De Kock

Jan De Kock has extensive work experience as a software engineer, specializing in senior roles. Jan has worked at various companies including Enovates, where they currently hold the position of Senior Software Engineer since March 2023. Prior to that, Jan was self-employed as a Senior Software Engineer starting from September 2019. Jan has also worked at Corilus from March 2022 to March 2023, VDAB from December 2020 to January 2022, Port of Antwerp from October 2019 to July 2020, and De Lijn from March 2019 to July 2019.

In addition to these roles, Jan has also served as a Technical Team Lead at International Post Corporation from March 2018 to February 2019. Jan was responsible for leading a team of developers, ensuring code quality, and addressing architectural flaws. Jan also held the position of Dev Lead at Rombit from November 2016 to February 2018, where they oversaw the transition from PHP/Symfony to Java/Spring Boot. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at CMOSIS from January 2013 to November 2016, focusing on writing and maintaining imaging software.

Jan's earliest work experience was at Barco, where they worked as an Embedded Software Engineer from February 2012 to November 2012, contributing to the development of the ClickShare product. Throughout their career, Jan has gained expertise in various programming languages and frameworks, and they have demonstrated their ability to lead teams and address complex technical challenges.

Jan De Kock obtained a Master's degree in Electronics-ICT from Hogeschool Antwerpen, where they attended from 2005 to 2009.
