Demetrius Harris

Demetrius Harris is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in project engineering and design within the medical device industry. Currently serving as a Senior Project Engineer at Enovis since January 2022, Demetrius has a background that includes a design engineer role at Ethicon, Inc., and co-op positions in process engineering and research and development at both Ethicon and Kimberly-Clark. An adept user of CAD and mechanical testing methodologies, Demetrius has successfully contributed to numerous design projects for surgical devices and conducted mechanical studies. Earlier experience as an SROP Scholar at Penn State University involved synthesizing polymers and conducting biodegradability tests, while a research internship at the University of Pittsburgh focused on cell morphodynamics. Demetrius holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering and Computer Science from Penn State University and is currently pursuing further education at Texas McCombs School of Business.
