Brian Cumpston

Brian Cumpston has over 23 years of experience in various roles in the technology and engineering industry. Brian is currently the Director of Integration Engineering at ENOVIX Corporation since May 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Bridgelux, Inc. where they held multiple positions including Vice President of Product Development from August 2015 to February 2021, Director of Product Development from November 2014 to August 2015, and Senior Product Development Engineer from May 2014 to November 2014. Before joining Bridgelux, Inc., Brian worked at Switch Lighting as a Principal Member of Technical Staff from October 2011 to March 2014. Brian also served as the Senior Director of Technology Development at Solyndra from April 2006 to September 2011. Brian's earlier experience includes working as a Process Development Manager at Osram Opto Semiconductors from March 2000 to April 2006 and as a Senior Materials Engineer at Siros Technologies from May 1998 to March 2000.

Brian Cumpston completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arizona from 1986 to 1991. Brian continued their studies and earned a Doctorate in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology between 1991 and 1996. Following this, they pursued a Postdoctoral degree in Chemistry at Caltech from 1996 to 1998.
