Saikat Jana

Saikat Jana, PhD, is currently a Staff Engineer in New Product Engineering at Enphase Energy, focusing on smart energy management product designs. Previously, Saikat served as a Senior R&D Engineer at Hitachi ABB Power Grids. During a tenure at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, Saikat pursued dual master's and PhD degrees, conducting research in the Power Electronics & Drives Lab, where expertise in developing single-phase and three-phase inverters, as well as real-time DSP-based controller boards, was gained. Teaching assistance roles included various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Electrical Engineering. Additionally, Saikat led teams for the Lockheed Martin University Design Challenge and designed embedded PCBs for the IGVC Team. As Co-Founder and Team Lead at Terero Mobility, responsibilities encompassed planning and executing the electrical systems for a remote-operated vehicle. Educational credentials include a B. Tech in Electrical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Durgapur and dual degrees from IIT Madras.
