Mike Gilbert

Mike Gilbert is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in subsea operations, equipment refurbishment, and project management within the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as the Engineering Team Lead at Enquest Energy Solutions since September 2018, Mike focuses on designing enhancements for refurbished equipment and developing new industry-standard equipment. Prior roles include rebuilding fracking equipment at National Oilwell Varco, conducting third-party inspections in the oil and gas sector, and serving as a Subsea Operations Engineer at BP, where responsibilities included supporting subsea operations and improving operational standards. Mike's experience is complemented by a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston and a Subsea Engineering certificate.
