John Telford

John Telford has extensive experience in asset management and operations within the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as Asset Manager at EnQuest since March 2013, Telford is part of the Upstream Leadership team, overseeing non-Duty Holder/Operator interests in the UKCS and ensuring safe operational performance across multiple assets, including Kraken, Kittiwake, Golden Eagle, and Alba. Previous roles include Operations Manager for the Magnus Production platform and the Thistle Alpha Production platform, where responsibilities encompassed safety culture, business planning, and managing partner relations. Telford has held various positions with notable companies such as Petrofac, CNRL, Apache Corporation, BP, and began a career in the Royal Navy as a Marine Electrical Engineer.
