Yakup Gezdirici

Yakup Gezdirici has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Yakup started their career in 2005 as a Software Development Manager at 4T Information Technologies, where they were responsible for designing and managing the development of the Medin project, a hospital information system. Yakup then moved on to Eurosoft, where they served as a Software Development Manager and was responsible for developing business applications under the brand name BigSoft.

In 2007, Yakup joined Türkiye Finans Participation Bank as a Team Leader and Developer, leading the development of a new CRM project and handling various analysis and research projects. Yakup also worked on code porting projects and developed test projects for entity validations.

From 2008 to 2011, Yakup joined Erguvan Bilisim Inc as a Software Development Manager, where they managed the Medin3 project, a Hospital Information System used by major hospital groups in Turkey. After that, they worked at Türkiye Finans Participation Bank as an Assistant Vice President and Manager of the Software Service Solutions Department, where they led a team that helped other software teams complete their projects on time.

In 2013, Yakup joined OTI Holding as a Software Development Manager, handling the development of core tourism projects for its tour operator and incoming companies. Yakup then joined Universal Yazılım A.Ş. as a Project Manager for the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality's new MIS and GIS project.

Since 2016, Yakup has been working at Enqura Information Technologies, where they initially served as an Enterprise Solutions Architect and later became the Senior Vice President of AI and Technology. In this role, they have been responsible for planning, managing, designing, and developing AI projects and enterprise-grade software solutions. Yakup has also been involved in IT management consultancy and acted as the head of the Antalya R&D branch.

Throughout their career, Yakup has gained extensive experience in managing and developing software projects, particularly in the fields of AI, tourism, and finance.

Yakup Gezdirici's education history begins in 1981 when they attended Çelebi Mehmet Secondary School. Yakup then moved on to Demirtaspasa High School from 1984 to 1987, where they studied Electricity. In 1987, Yakup attended Karadeniz Technical University and focused on Mathematics for a year. From 1992 to 1994, they studied English LT at Uludag University. Yakup then pursued a BA in English LT at Marmara University from 1994 to 1996.

Later on, in 2011, Yakup went back to school and obtained an MBA degree in Business Administration, Finance and Banking from Fatih University, completing the program in 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Yakup Gezdirici obtained a certification as a Microsoft Certified Azure AI Engineer Associate from Microsoft in October 2019.
