Karen Thomas

Karen Thomas is currently the Director at ENRICHMENT SERVICES PROGRAM INCORPORATED. Karen has held this position since June of 2019. Prior to their current role, Karen was the Senior Vice President, Community Development, CRA Investment Officer at MB Financial Bank from September 2014 to June 2019.

Karen's banking career began in 1983 as the Assistant Vice President, Commercial Officer, Assistant Branch Manager at Mellon Bank. Karen then moved to Citizens and Southern National Bank in 1985 where they became the Vice President, Commercial Officer and Branch Manager. In 1988 they joined Interbanc as the Senior Vice President, Credit and Branch Administration.

In 1992 Karen left Interbanc to join Bank One as the Vice President, Professional and Executive Banking. However, they only held this role for a year before returning to Cole Taylor Bank (which they had left in 1993) as the Senior Vice President, Community Development Manager, CRA Officer. Karen remained in this role for 21 years until leaving for their current position in 2019.

Karen Thomas has a B.A. in Business and Writing from the University of Pittsburgh.
