Chris Bartolomei

Chris Bartolomei has a diverse work history, starting with their role as a Design Engineer at Goodrich Aerostructures in 1989. Chris worked on designing aircraft engine systems and structural components, utilizing 3D CAD software and collaborating with other functional groups. Chris then moved on to become a Senior Design Engineer, where they took on additional responsibilities such as coordinating activities to ensure high-quality, on-time, and cost-effective production. Chris later transitioned to an IT Specialist II position at the same company, where they served as a Systems Administrator for a multi-platform engineering and manufacturing environment. In this role, they designed, procured, and implemented a CAD hardware/software deployment that resulted in significant cost reduction. Chris also managed the division's printing and plotting environment. Following this, Chris worked as an Information Technology Specialist III at Goodrich Aerostructures, acting as a systems architect for a multi-platform environment. Chris implemented Lean principles to enhance IT performance while reducing costs. Chris was also involved in budgeting, procurement, and implementation of server and client systems. Additionally, they played a pivotal role in designing and implementing a Production Operation Center for system monitoring and revitalized the computer room. In 2002, Chris ventured into independent consulting as an Environmental Consultant. Chris primarily focused on Air Quality analysis and collaborated with Ryan Belanger Associates. This involved presenting findings through thematic maps and utilizing GIS knowledge. Chris's most recent work experience involves being a QISP for their own company, starting in 2016.

Chris Bartolomei has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC San Diego. Chris also holds an MBA in General/International Management from San Diego State University. In addition, they have an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from San Diego Mesa College. Chris Bartolomei completed their high school education at St. Augustine High School.
