Eric Mergen Pe

Eric Mergen, PE has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. In 1999, they began their career as a Construction General Laborer at Mergen Co. Builders & Remodelers. Eric then worked as a Deli Counter Clerk at Giant Grocery Store until 2001. In the same year, they also worked briefly as a Roofer at Evans Family Roofing Co. From 2001 to 2002, Eric served as a Student Athlete Academic Tutor at Oregon State University. In 2005, they joined The Greenbrier Companies as an Associate Design Engineer and was later promoted to Senior Design Engineer in 2008. Eric's most recent position is Senior Mechanical Engineer at ENSCO, Inc., where they have been working since 2020.

Eric Mergen, PE has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Temple University College of Engineering, which they obtained from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they attended Oregon State University from 2001 to 2002, focusing on Mechanical Engineering. Eric also pursued General Studies at Bryn Athyn College of the New Church from 1999 to 2001. In terms of certifications, Eric obtained a Professional Engineer license in Mechanical Systems and Materials from the State of Oregon in June 2010. Eric also holds a C Programming with Linux Professional Certificate from edX and has completed the Writing Skills for Engineering Leaders course through Coursera Certified Courses.
