Karole Huntley has a diverse work experience in cybersecurity, starting with their current role as a Cybersecurity SME at ENSCO, Inc. since 2019. Karole has 7 years of experience in policy and procedural writing, research, and network defense operations. Karole represents the cyber team in various studies for expertise in cyber policy analysis and documentation.

Prior to their role at ENSCO, Karole worked as a Sustainment Team Lead at Aerodyne Industries LLC from 2018 to 2019. In this role, they supported one of 23 accredited Cybersecurity Service Providers at the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). Karole authored, coordinated, and maintained policies and procedures that positively re-shaped MDA's cybersecurity strategy.

From 2015 to 2018, Karole worked as a Network Security Engineer at Insight Global. Karole also gained experience with Hewlett-Packard (HP) where they held multiple roles including HP Security Event Analyst from 2008 to 2015. During their tenure at HP, they obtained Security+ Certificate and served as the Team Captain for the shift team. Karole was also a Motivational Coach to Peers and the Delivery Team.

Karole's role at HP also included positions such as HP Networking ISSR, where they covered all public sector accounts for the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast area and assisted internal and external teams in growing the networking business. Karole Huntley holds a Master's degree in Cybersecurity Policy, which they obtained from the University of Maryland Global Campus from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Colorado College, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Asian Studies from 2003 to 2007. In addition to their formal education, Karole has obtained several certifications to enhance their expertise in the field of cybersecurity. Karole became a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in July 2022. In September 2019, they obtained the Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO) certification from EC-Council. Karole also holds a GIAC Certified Incident Handler certification from GIAC Certifications, which they acquired in May 2017. Furthermore, they obtained the Security+ Certification from CompTIA in May 2015.
