Michael Lindsley started their work experience in 2007 as a Copier Technician at Canon Business Solutions, Inc. Michael then worked as a Pawn Broker at Pawn America and PayDay America from 2008 to 2012. From 2013 to 2014, they were a Senior Customer Assistance Representative at Enterprise Rent-A-Car. In 2014, they worked as a Locate Technician at USIC, where they located underground electrical and communication facilities. Michael then worked as an Information Technology Help Desk Coordinator - Data Center at Schwan's Company from 2015 to 2017. From 2015 to 2018, they were a Computer Repair Technician at Ryans Computers. In 2018, they became a Field Technician at Spectrum until 2020. In 2020, they worked as an Information Technology Specialist at Lyon County Government Center, where they implemented security measures and managed network infrastructures. Currently, they are an Engineer at ENSCO, Inc., starting in 2021.

Michael Lindsley began their education in 2000 at Marshall Senior High School, where they completed their secondary education in 2004. In 2013, they enrolled at Minnesota West Technical College and pursued studies in Computer Science until 2014.

In addition to their educational background, Michael Lindsley has obtained several certifications. In October 2018, they earned a certification as a Power Limited Technician from the State of Minnesota. Furthermore, in April 2020, they obtained the Certification of Criminal Justice Information System Security Awareness Level 4 (CJIS) from Peak Performance Solutions.
