Shawn Hosp has a comprehensive work experience spanning over three decades. Their most recent role is as the Chief Technologist at ENSCO, Inc., a position they have held since April 2021. Prior to Sparta, Shawn co-founded DivergeNet Inc. in January 2001 and served as a Senior Hardware Engineer. Shawn played a significant role in architecting, designing, and testing the core hardware designs for the company's InfiniBand Host Channel Adapters and Multi-Port Switch products. Shawn also collaborated with firmware and software development engineers to identify and resolve issues.

Before their time at DivergeNet, Shawn worked as a Development Engineer Consultant/FPGA Development Engineer at Dell and ConvergeNet Technologies from August 1999 to January 2001. In these roles, they developed automated test scripts, debugged performance issues, tested signal integrity, and developed software routines for FPGA devices.

Shawn's career began in September 1990 as a Cryptologic Technician (Collection) in the US Navy, where they served for four years.

Shawn Hosp attended the Oregon Institute of Technology from 1994 to 1999. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in both Computer Software Engineering and Computer Systems Engineering.
